Terms of Service

Last updated: 11 March 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Noted application and website. By purchasing, downloading, or using Noted, you agree to these terms.

Use of the Software

Noted is licensed, not sold. When you purchase Noted, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the software on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms.

You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the software except where permitted by law.

Local Processing and Privacy

Noted is designed as a local-first application. Meeting recordings, transcripts, summaries, and extracted tasks are intended to be processed and stored on your device unless you choose to export, back up, or share them.

If you choose to use optional email-related features, you are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to access and process the relevant mailbox content.

Automated Extraction Features

Noted may provide features that analyse selected emails and transcripts and extract suggested to-dos or follow-up actions. These outputs are generated automatically and should be reviewed by you before you rely on them.

You remain responsible for checking extracted tasks, deadlines, and context before acting on them, sharing them, or using them in a professional workflow.

Payments

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By completing a purchase, you agree to provide accurate billing information.

Prices may change in the future, but changes will not affect purchases already completed.

Refunds

We offer a 7-day refund policy. If you are not satisfied with Noted, you may request a refund within 7 days of purchase by contacting support.

Refund requests should be sent to support@notedapp.ai.

Software Updates

We may release updates to improve functionality, security, or compatibility. Updates may be provided free of charge or as part of future paid upgrades.

Limitation of Liability

Noted is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. The developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages resulting from the use of, or inability to use, the software.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the software after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
